give up! you can do it!

I
was learning to fly a R/C heli some years ago, but had one
too many crashes, which did my confidence no good, and
I simply couldn't afford to keep going at the time.
I'm already finding
I can hover the Hoverfly (still with the training U/C
on - take it slowly, Bob!), and have had no really bad crashes
yet. If memory serves me, it closely mimics the actions
of a larger model, and the interesting thing for me is that
I find it gives me time to understand what I am doing
wrong, and get straight back in the air again to correct
it. With my larger model it was usually 'pack all
the bits in the bin bag' and head home for another few weeks,
and wait out the wallet/weather. The Hoverfly wins
hands down there, although my better half is a bit bemused
trying to see past it (and me) to watch Corrie.
If I keep on improving
as I am, I will have more than saved the cost of wrecking
yet another newer, larger model. In fact I've already
set myself the goal of getting good enough to get one of
your Chinooks. My son is training to fly a full size
R22, and has had a try of the Hoverfly, but I'm pleased
to say he's hopeless - and he's not getting the chance
to be better than me!

to congratulate yourselves on a Fantastic product !!!
I just cant leave it alone, the "prelude head" is so smooth
and i have been able to hover over same place for ever
!!!
I have struggled
with cheap Japanese imports for the last two months with
nothing but broken parts and frustration ! The hoverfly
has given me confidence in my pilot skills and only wish
i purchased one sooner.

Hi Snelflight,
I just received my Hoverfly and I have to tell you this
is so cool.
Up until now I have been practicing with a simulator..
but flying hoverfly is heaps more entertaining.
I am really going to clock up my hover hours.
