Which Model to Choose?
If you are considering purchasing one of our models we
would recommend looking at all three, as they each have
something different to offer:
Microfly is ideal for complete beginners, and is
a delightful and inexpensive introduction to the hobby.
It is tiny, and requires only one control (throttle) to
operate. Everything else is automatic, so the beginner can
concentrate on height control. Everyone can have a go, and
most will learn to hover the aircraft in a controlled way.
This important skill transfers directly to all other hovering
aircraft.
Flying Saucer lets you take control of your own
UFO! Its miniature size and robust foam body make it ideal
for small spaces, and it is unique - there is nothing else
like it! Its self-levelling design and effective yet docile
controls are perfect for a beginner pilot, providing a gentle
way into fully-controllable hovering flight. Learning to
fly this model will take you a long way towards flying a
wide variety of model helicopters and rotorcraft. Equally,
if unmatched living room fun is what you are after, the
Flying Saucer is for you!
Jump Jet is the largest of our models, and the most
powerful. It is self-levelling and docile as supplied, offering
the unique chance of elegant and controlled forward flight
in the most confined spaces. Alternatively it may be stripped
of its foam body and flown as a compact "quadcopter" with
good performance, and in this form it can carry a small
payload. It is upgradable with various accessories, including
our Harrier body kit and an FM radio receiver for flying
outdoors with a conventional hobby transmitter. If you are
looking for a versatile "hobby" aircraft, Jump Jet is the
right choice - no other flight system that we know of combines
all of these virtues.
